Steak and Tomato Kabobs with Avocado Sauce
It's going to be nice, it's spring, maybe the end of confinement, I'm going to be able to take the barbecue out and make skewers. To make this simple recipe, you will need for 4 people
Sauce - 1 avocado, - 5 cm of cucumber, peeled and coarsely chopped, - ¼ cup light cream with less than 15% fat, - ¼ cup sliced green onions, - ¼ cup chopped fresh dill, - 1 lime juice, - ⅛ teaspoon hot pepper sauce - Salt
Seasoning - 1 teaspoon minced garlic, - 1 tablespoon of Dijon mustard, - 1 teaspoon of chili powder, - ½ teaspoon paprika, - ½ teaspoon ground coriander, - ½ teaspoon ground cumin, - ½ teaspoon salt
Ingredients: - 900 g top sirloin cut into 3 cm cubes - 24 cherry tomatoes
Preparation - Mix the avocado, cucumber, light cream, green onions, dill and lime juice until smooth. Stir in hot pepper sauce, adjusting the amount to your taste, then season with salt. Pour the sauce into a bowl, cover and refrigerate. Bring to room temperature before serving, - Prepare the barbecue for cooking over medium heat (175 to 230 ° C), - In a small bowl, mix all the seasoning ingredients well. Evenly coat the meat cubes with the mixture. Thread the meat on the skewers alternately with the tomatoes. Lightly brush the skewers with oil,
- Grill the skewers, with the lid closed, until the meat is cooked to your taste, turning occasionally. Remove from grill, - Serve the skewers with the avocado sauce.
And what to drink with that, with a recipe from the USA, I would recommend a California wine, a Petite Sirah, a French grape that has migrated to California. There must be a few rare French producers and if you know good ones, do not hesitate to report them. Otherwise prices vary from 40 € to less than 10 € if you find an importer ...
So good barbecue, I await your comments and see you soon for new articles.
